Boise State’s bowl breakdown

Boise State may force the Bowl Championship Series to do the previously unthinkable – invite two teams from college football’s lower class into the five elite games. No. 4 TCU has clinched its spot as the automatic qualifier from the five non-BCS leagues. No. 6 Boise State should get an at-large invite Sunday if it beats New Mexico State and Texas beats Nebraska in the Big 12 title game Saturday. The Broncos have pushed their way into BCS contention with a perfect record for the second straight year. They beat Oregon, now No. 7 in the BCS, in the opener. They have a Heisman Trophy candidate at quarterback. Their fans swarmed the desert for the 2007 Fiesta Bowl. And many marquee programs have struggled this year. So where are the Broncos headed – and who will they play? Here are the possibilities in order of likelihood:Boise States bowl breakdown
